How to make Cinnamon Clove Simple Syrup:

  • In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, 3-4 cinnamon sticks, and 6-8 cloves.

  • Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is fully dissolved.

  • Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes to let the flavors infuse.

  • Remove from heat and let cool for about 15–20 minutes with the spices still in the syrup.

  • Strain out the cinnamon sticks and cloves, then pour the syrup into a clean, airtight container.

  • Storage: Keep in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
